Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Equipment Operator / Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position involves general maintenance, construction, and repair work in outdoor and public areas.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work
  • Assist with street, sidewalk, and facility maintenance
  • Operate trucks, jack hammers, sprayers, power tools, and other equipment
  • May operate skip loader, asphalt roller and other medium equipment
  • Assist with concrete, asphalt, and construction projects
  • Maintain water lines, pipes, valves, drains, and related systems
  • Install and maintain signs, barriers, and other safety equipment
  • Help keep work areas clean, safe, and organized


Requirements:

  • Previous construction, maintenance, or related labor experience preferred
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Valid California Class C driver's license required
  • Must be able to obtain a Class B license within 12 months
  • Must be comfortable with physical work, including bending, climbing, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
