Job description

Ashlar Homes is looking for a personable, organized Sales Assistant to support our new home sales team. This role is based in our model homes, welcoming visitors and supporting the sales process, with the flexibility to float between communities as needed. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on experience in new home sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors at model homes, creating a warm, professional first impression
  • Register guests, capture accurate prospect information, and enter data into the CRM
  • Support sales counselors with model home tours, presentations, and follow-up materials
  • Keep model homes and sales offices clean, staged, and presentation-ready
  • Act as a Customer Concierge for our customers during the building process
  • Float between multiple model home communities based on staffing and traffic needs
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments for the sales team
  • Assist with open houses, sales events, and community marketing efforts
  • Track and report daily traffic, inventory, and promotional materials
  • Provide backup coverage for sales counselors during breaks, time off, or high-traffic periods

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, hospitality, or retail
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between model home locations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Comfortable with basic computer systems, CRM software, and data entry
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work some weekends, as model homes are typically busiest then
  • Real estate license or homebuilding industry experience a plus, but not required
