  • Manage project plans, estimates, budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and financial tracking, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Partner with scientific, editorial, creative, digital, and operational colleagues to deliver integrated, high-quality scientific communications.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic publication plans and Medical Affairs communication initiatives aligned with client objectives and clinical milestones.
  • Ensure deliverables meet applicable industry guidelines, client requirements, and quality standards, including ICMJE and GPP where appropriate.
  • Apply best practices and continuously identify opportunities to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Support proposal development, identify opportunities for organic account growth, and contribute to new business activities.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging collaborative ways of working.

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about delivering high-quality scientific communications.
You'll also bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years' experience in medical communications supporting Publications, Medical Affairs, or both.
  • Experience managing scientific communication deliverables, such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials, medical education content, advisory boards, or other Medical Affairs initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing timelines, budgets, forecasts, and financial processes.
  • Confidence building client relationships, anticipating needs, managing expectations, and providing proactive solutions.
  • Experience collaborating across scientific, editorial, creative, digital, and operational teams to deliver integrated communication programs.
  • Knowledge of publication guidelines, including ICMJE and GPP, and familiarity with publication or project management systems such as Datavision is an advantage.
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in supporting account growth, improving ways of working, and mentoring junior colleagues.
