An AS400 Project Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing projects that involve the IBM AS400 (now known as IBM i) platform. This role includes planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects related to AS400 systems, such as software upgrades, migrations, or integrations. The AS400 Project Manager works closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. They also manage risks, schedules, and resources specific to the AS400 environment. Strong technical knowledge of AS400 systems and project management skills are essential for this role.
