Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Support drivers on the road during breakdowns, emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide support and information to drivers and contractors maintenance emergencies utilizing phone, mobile messaging, email, etc.
  • Coordinate with scheduler to ensure equipment is routed and scheduled in the shop for preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor the progress of repairs and make updates as needed.
  • Support other ERS team as needed.
  • Perform invoice & Comdata check reconciliation when requested by manager.
  • Closing TMT transactions.
  • Inform WEL Operations daily of equipment and location status.
  • Negotiate repair and labor costs with vendors.
  • Work with drivers and operations to establish areas of improvement and contribute to team efforts and goals.
  • Ensure quality and productivity goals are met.
  • Assist safety and operations during emergencies and/or accidents.
  • Maintain up-to-date training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, resources, vendor lists, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; required

Experience:

  • 1+ year of relevant experience; required

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows.
  • Ability to learn and use propriety software.
  • TMT experience, a plus
  • AS400 experience, a plus
