Overview
Registered Nurse – ER Supervisor (Travel) in Hamburg, IA, United States. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 14-week assignment. Weekly pay between $2,221 and $2,253 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). Setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Serve as working supervisor/charge nurse for both ER and Med/Surg during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
- Oversee patient flow, triage, prioritization, and assignment of tasks to nursing staff and support personnel.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care, including rounds and care plans.
- Provide direct patient care as needed (RN), including medication administration, monitoring, and response to clinical changes.
- Ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and adherence to unit policies and procedures.
- Lead and mentor the nursing team on shift, manage staffing, equipment, and supplies, and respond to clinical emergencies as they arise.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- OB/Newborn Stabilization education/training is encouraged and may be submitted
- Prior ER and/or Med/Surg experience; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program ( ADN/BSN acceptable )
