Practice Operations Professional For Cbiz Technology's Ai Team

The Practice Operations professional for CBIZ Technology's AI Team supports the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the practice by coordinating internal processes, enabling consistent service delivery, supporting resource planning and reporting, and helping drive adoption of operational standards across the team. This role partners with practice leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve workflows, monitor key activities, support compliance with applicable requirements, and enhance the overall client and team experience. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational discipline, sound judgment, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving AI services environment.

Essential Functions And Primary Duties
  • Support day-to-day practice operations for the AI Team, including coordination of internal processes, workflow tracking, documentation, and operational follow-through.
  • Partner with practice leaders to help manage priorities, improve consistency of delivery, and support execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve operational documentation, templates, playbooks, and standard work instructions to support scalable, repeatable service delivery.
  • Track operational metrics, prepare reports and dashboards, and identify trends, risks, or opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate across delivery, sales, finance, marketing, and shared services teams to support practice needs, resource alignment, and issue resolution.
  • Help support onboarding, training coordination, and enablement activities for team members within the AI practice.
  • Assist with managing practice rhythms such as team meetings, action item tracking, pipeline or project status coordination, and follow-up on key operational commitments.
  • Support quality, governance, and compliance activities related to the AI practice's service offerings, documentation standards, and applicable business requirements.
  • Serve as a responsive internal and external point of contact for operational matters, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce friction, and strengthen collaboration across the practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting an AI, data, analytics, digital transformation, or emerging technology practice
  • Knowledge of professional services operations, including resource planning, reporting, utilization tracking, and process standardization
  • Familiarity with AI-related business processes, governance concepts, or responsible use considerations
  • Experience creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and operational documentation for leadership review
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Experience with project coordination, change management, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and new service offerings
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools

Additional Information This position is expected to operate with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment while supporting a highly collaborative team environment. The role may require adapting to changing business priorities, new technologies, and evolving practice needs. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience as a subject matter expert
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
