Description
The Art Director crafts identities and identity-led campaigns for Apple’s services, products, and events-bringing ideas to life through through conceptual rigor, hands-on ideation, and systems thinking.

Experience designing within established brand systems, with strong instincts for where to push and where to stay consistent.
Strong visual storytelling instinct-able to use imagery, typography, and composition to communicate ideas with clarity and purpose.
Skilled collaborator-earns trust quickly, engages confidently with competing creative perspectives, and builds alignment without diluting the work.
Clear communicator, able to articulate a strong rationale for creative decisions in presentations and reviews.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working toward a clear direction without a fully defined brief.
Versatility across brand identity and campaign design, combining systematic thinking with high-level craft.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience building brand identities and campaigns, with design as a core discipline.
A portfolio demonstrating strong design principles, art direction, typography, color, and visual communication across identity or campaign work.
Industry experience as a designer and art director, contributing to the creative development process from concept to final production.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong understanding of how identity systems scale and translate across multiple applications, formats, and contexts.
Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,600 and $215,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
