Role Overview:
This role sits at the intersection of hands-on creative execution, content production, visual storytelling, and creative leadership. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the Art Director will bring to life a variety of marketing strategies and concepts across social media, paid media, influencer marketing, digital experiences, and integrated campaigns.


The Art Director owns the creative process from producing shoots to final delivery of assets. The ideal candidate requires strong creative judgment, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects across a wide variety of clients from CPG brands to luxury beauty. Preferably with experience working in a fast-paced agency environment while delivering high-quality work that tells a unique story and drives engagement.


Responsibilities:


Brand Purpose & Communications Strategy
  • Support the development and execution of purpose-driven marketing and communications initiatives across owned, earned, social, and paid channels.
  • Develop strategic narratives, communication platforms, and campaign frameworks that strengthen brand relevance and consumer connection.
  • Ensure all content and communications align with broader brand strategy, positioning, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to bring integrated campaigns to market.
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external partners, organizations, creators, influencers, talent, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support partnership activations from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand standards.
  • Manage cross-functional coordination across agency, client, and partner teams to ensure seamless delivery of initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying new partnership opportunities that support brand growth, cultural relevance, and business objectives.
Content Strategy & Editorial Development
  • Develop social copy, creator briefs, content outlines, messaging frameworks, and channel-specific content recommendations.
  • Manage content review, approval, and publishing workflows across multiple stakeholders.
  • Partner with creative, influencer, PR, and activation teams to ensure content is strategically aligned and optimized for platform performance.
  • Support content planning across campaign, always-on, and tentpole initiatives.
Program Development & Execution
  • Support the planning and activation of consumer-facing programs, community initiatives, and brand experiences.
  • Coordinate execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Assist in developing scalable programs that strengthen brand equity and consumer engagement.
Measurement & Optimization
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign, content, partnership, and program performance.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and optimization plans.
  • Develop reporting frameworks and communicate insights to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Apply learnings from previous campaigns and initiatives to improve future performance and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in art direction, content production, creative development, or integrated marketing.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling across social, digital, content, and campaign work.
  • Experience leading photo shoots, video shoots, and content productions from concept through execution.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, CapCut, or equivalent creative tools.
  • Strong understanding of social-first content development and platform best practices.
  • Experience editing content for social media and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional creative quality.

Preferred

  • Agency, consultancy, or in-house brand experience.
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, and UGC programs.
  • Motion graphics, video editing, or photography experience.
  • Experience using AI tools within creative workflows and content development.
  • Experience working with beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
