Kuumba Academy Charter School (KACS) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a relentless committment to student success using innovative arts art-integrated methods to ensure all students achieve at high-levels. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, we want to hear from you!

  • Develop and implement lessons that meet the diverse needs of our student population

  • Foster a positive, achievement-oriented, and structured learning environment

  • Motivate students to achieve high academic and behavioral standards

  • Utilize data to drive instruction and intervention

  • Utilize various teaching resources, including the arts and technology, to reach all learners

  • Collaborate with instructional coaches, grade level chairs, and school team to continuously improve instructional, culture-building, and leadership skills

  • Participate enthusiastically in all professional development, team planning, and data analysis meetings

  • Function as a school-wide partner in helping to raise student achievement and character for all students in the school reinforcing school-wide expectations and volunteering to take on additional activities as needed to improve school culture
