Art Department Director Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Art Department Supervisor oversees and improves upon the day-to-day operations of the Stewart Signs Art Department. This includes the continuing development of the individual Artists in their job functions, as well as communicating with sales representatives, product engineers and other departments within the company.

The Art Department Supervisor is responsible for the department’s overall work output while also contributing through artwork creation. This role reports on department productivity at weekly Marketing Department meetings and provides guidance to maintain and improve efficiency. In partnership with the Director of Marketing, the supervisor also assists with hiring and disciplinary actions within the department as needed.

This role is a full-time on-site position Monday – Friday.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree (Desired)
• Previous Supervisory experience (Desired)
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Artist
• 1-3 years of demonstrated high level data entry and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to completion.
• Goal-oriented, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to learn technical products quickly or technical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written skillsets and ability to communicate with multiple departments.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with a Customer Relationship Management Database (CRM).
• Experience with Sales Force CRM (Desired).

Job Location

The location of this job is in our Sarasota, Florida office.

This position is in a climate-controlled office environment.
