Now Hiring: Equipment Operators | Bryan, OH

For over 115 years, The Ohio Art Company has been a leader in metal decorating. Now, we’re taking the next step—bringing our can-making process in-house to Bryan, OH, creating a fully integrated operation from lithography to finished product.

We’re hiring 15 mechanically inclined, dependable operators to help make this transition a success.

Two paths. One opportunity to be part of a major evolution in our operation. People who thrive in a mechanical environment, enjoy troubleshooting, and are ready to be part of something bigger.

Choose Your Path?? Path 1: Travel & Train (Be First on the Process)- These positions have been filled- no longer available

Want to be at the center of this transition?

  • Travel to our New Jersey facility for hands-on training (up to ~3 months)
  • Learn directly on the existing, proven equipment before it’s relocated to Bryan
  • Company-supported travel, plus stipend and bonus eligibility
  • Return as a Train-the-Trainer, helping stand up operations and guide others

Best for: Candidates who want to fast-track their growth and take on a leadership role in launching the process locally.

Path 2: Bryan Launch Team (Start Local, Grow Fast)

Prefer to stay local and jump in?

  • Be part of the Bryan-based startup team as equipment is installed and brought online
  • Learn the process on-site and begin running equipment as operations ramp up
  • Play a key role in building a fully integrated manufacturing process
  • Grow into advanced operator roles as production expands

Best for: Candidates ready to get hands-on, adapt quickly, and help build something from the ground up.

Requirements:What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate metal forming and slitting equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues and keep production running efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Ensure product quality meets specifications
  • Follow all safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • (Travel Path) Train and mentor new operators after returning to Bryan
Who We’re Looking For
  • 2–3+ years of machine operation or similar experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals
  • Proven reliability and solid work history
  • Hands-on mindset—you enjoy fixing, adjusting, and improving equipment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on a challenge
  • Training or mentoring experience (especially for travel path)

Highly valued experience:

  • Can-making or metal packaging
  • OBI or metal forming punch press
Schedule & Benefits
  • Transition to a 4-Day Work Week (Monday–Thursday) once equipment arrives and is up and running.
  • Overtime opportunities on Fridays. Saturdays are never mandated.
  • Competitive pay + advancement opportunities
  • Full benefits package:
    • Medical, Dental, Vision
    • FREE Life Insurance
    • Paid Vacation + 11 Paid Holidays
    • Profit-Sharing Opportunities
    • 401(k) with guaranteed 4.5% contribution + match
Why This Role Matters

This isn’t just filling a position—it’s building a capability we’ve never had fully in one location before.

You’ll be part of:

  • Bringing a proven process into a single, integrated operation
  • Helping establish workflows, standards, and training
  • Supporting a long-term investment in the Bryan facility
Ready to Get Started?

We’re moving quickly- equipment relocation is underway, and we need people ready to step in now.
