Job description

(Internal Title: Project Management IV) Manage and implement the assigned projects from inception through to completion Develop new project or program plans and expectations in consultation with and delegating deliverables to stakeholders, including clients Determine and manage the human and material resources required to complete assigned projects successfully Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets Exercise authority in managing the work and control the delivery of the projects per project plans Review and ensure adherence to the overall scope, schedule, and budget Identify risks and entrench mitigation strategies and contingency plans Monitor and report on performance against project requirements, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines Evaluate the project's effectiveness by consulting with clients and other stakeholders Establish and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, key stakeholders, and Operations Lead scope change negotiations Oversee ongoing quality control, participate in quality issue resolution, and manage internal quality control checks for the project Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle Complete any tasks assigned by Project Management V or higher in an efficient and timely manner Working Conditions Office-based (5 Days a week)Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management experience in Rail and Transit projects IPDT Delivery Model Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Licenses OR Certifications: Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management methods Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Proficient in Project Management software Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks Expert ability to detect, capitalize, and be sensitive to others' strengths Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity Tact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension Effectively leads multi-resource Project Management teams Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices Proven success in providing on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
