Job description

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. They will also be doing preventative maintenance to maintain and keeping them in a safe and working order.
Responsibilities include
• Problem solving ability
• Fixing machines on the manufacturing floor (identifying problem, finding solution, executing)
• Troubleshooting problems with machines
• Working with CNC Controls
• Reading and understanding Electrical Schematics
• Reading and understanding Mechanical Drawings
• Performing equipment preventative maintenance
• Repairing mechanical problems
• Wiring the most complex electrical systems
• Assessing projects and creating material lists
• Installing raceways (conduit bending, wire ways, etc.) with applicable code knowledge
• Installing multi-phase 120v/240v/480v equipment and installation
• Installing complicated circuits and automotive wire schematics
• Demonstrating knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
• Ability to adhere to written and verbal instructions
• Direct work of other maintenance staff if assigned by Facility Manager
• Data entry into maintenance database if needed
• Flexibility and versatility to assume other duties
• Any additional items as assigned by manager
Principle Contacts Inside/Outside the Company
This position will be interacting with maintenance personnel, manufacturing engineers, management, and other company employees to address issues.

• 5 years of experience in a Mechanical/Electrical trade
