Armed Security Officer - Part Time
Position: Security Guard (Armed Security officer)
Location: Baltimore, MD
Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour
Description:
These positions are in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas. Armed Guards are required to protect the Armory and conduct Entry Access Control, by checking IDs and Vehicle Checks. Protect Property, Employees and Equipment.
MUST Have a Current and Valid Maryland State Police Clearance Card (Guard Card).
MUST Have a Current and Valid Maryland State Police Handgun Permit.

Requirements/Experience:
• Meaningful and verifiable work history.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to work flexible schedules.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• A NEGATIVE COVID TEST is Required!
• No usage of illegal drugs or alcohol. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
• Be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable.
• Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position.
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrate ability to interact cordially and communicate with the Public.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a Valid and Current Maryland State Police Security Guard Certification.
• Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client provided vehicle.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.

• Physical Exam, if armed or required by client contract.
