As a Security Officer Armed Government Patrol in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location. In this armed driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain required qualifications for armed assignments and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Must possess Government Secret Clearance
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess 2 years of law enforcement, corrections and military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
