Job description

The Weapons Chief Engineer serves as the technical liaison for the F35 Chief Engineer's Office, delivering crossdisciplinary expertise and support for all weapons systems to U.S., partner nation, and FMS customers while safeguarding the technical integrity of the F35 Air System. The Chief Engineer advises the Program Manager on integration schedules, assesses technical risks, and chairs key gate reviews such as SRR, SFR, PDR, and CDR. The position also provides onsite technical oversight for Weapons Technical Interchange Meetings, Integrated Baseline Reviews, Technical Readiness Reviews, Integrated Product Reviews, and riskmitigation sessions, and supports the development, testing, integration, and certification of weapons and armament

Collaboration with International Chief Engineers ensures partnernation weapon certification.
