Position Summary

As Aria Networks continues to grow, we are looking for a part-time HR Coordinator to support our people operations. This role is responsible for supporting the onboarding lifecycle, recruiting, administering benefits and compensation, maintaining HR records and compliance, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be a trusted resource for employees and managers alike, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and that Aria’s growing team is well-supported.


Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & New Hire Support

·       New Hire Logistics: Coordinate all new hire setup including equipment requests, software access, and welcome kits.

·       Orientation: Facilitate first-day new hire orientation, onboarding sessions, and initial system setup to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for every new team member.

·       Document Management: Collect and verify I-9 documentation and ensure all employment agreements and new hire paperwork are signed, complete, and stored in compliance with legal requirements. Provide ongoing HR document management support for employee & company documents .

·       Offboarding: Manage the administrative side of departures, including equipment retrieval, system access removal, coordination with payroll for final pay and support employee offboarding logistics.

Benefits & Compensation Administration

·       Benefits Support: Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding health insurance, 401(k), and other benefit programs. Assist with enrollment, changes, and respond to employee questions.

·       Compensation: Draft compensation change letters and partner with finance on payroll adjustments for new hires, terminations, salary changes, and bonuses.

·       Timekeeping: Assist with tracking and following up on hourly employee time card submissions.

HR Operations & Compliance

·       HRIS Maintenance: Keep the HRIS and all HR records updated with accurate employee data, org structure, and reporting relationships.

·       Compliance: Ensure all employee records meet state and federal labor law requirements and maintain accurate, audit-ready HR records.

·       Reporting: Generate monthly reports on key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and other people-related data.

Recruiting & Interview Coordination

·       Job Postings: Post and manage open roles across different platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry-specific boards.

·       Applicant Tracking: Track and maintain candidate pipelines in the ATS, route applications to hiring managers, and ensure all candidate data and feedback are kept current.

·       Interview Scheduling: Own the end-to-end interview scheduling process across all departments, coordinating across time zones and complex calendars with efficiency and care.

·       Initial Screening: Conduct initial resume reviews and brief phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications before routing to hiring managers.

·       Hiring Process Support: Support the final stages of the recruiting process. Generate draft offer letters, initiate and monitor background checks, and support hiring managers in conducting thorough reference checks to ensure we are bringing in top-tier talent. Keep candidates who have accepted the offers warm and engaged until they join.

Culture & Employee Experience

·       Events & Engagement: Assist in organizing team-building events, company meetings, and social initiatives that strengthen Aria’s culture as we grow.

·       Employee Support: Be a trusted, approachable resource for employees to help point them in the right direction for HR and people-related needs.


Qualifications

·       2+ years of experience in an HR coordinator, HR generalist, or similar people operations role

·       Experience at a startup or high-growth technology company strongly preferred

·       Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS)

·       Working knowledge of benefits administration and employment compliance requirements

·       Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

·       Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with all levels of the organization

·       Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

·       Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365

·       Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
