This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with SLP-CCC credentials who enjoys working with children and appreciates a steady, manageable caseload. The assignment begins August 12, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, with an average of 16 hours per week. You’ll have the opportunity to serve students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade, providing dedicated support primarily at Argonaut Elementary School.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Confidence in evaluating and treating communication disorders for ages TK-5th
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective family and staff collaboration
- Organized and able to manage a caseload of approximately 15 students
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech-language therapy to support student communication and academic success
- Complete evaluations, develop IEPs, and document progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Maintain thorough and timely records in line with school and district policies
