The Opportunity

As the Documentation Control, Change Management Specialist at Halo Industries, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our product documentation and managing the efficient implementation of changes. This position focuses on processing documents under change control, guiding stakeholders through our change processes (ECO, PLM), and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless documentation control and change management throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Process documents under change control, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Deviations, and other relevant documentation.
  • Guide stakeholders through the change management process, providing training and support on ECO and PLM systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all change control activities, ensuring traceability and auditability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of changes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of document control and change management systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and regulatory requirements related to document control and change management.

3-Month Success Criteria:

  • Process Familiarization: Gain a thorough understanding of Halo Industries' document control and change management processes.
  • System Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in using Arena PLM and Confluence for document control and change management activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different departments.

6-Month Success Criteria:

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of document control and change management systems.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to stakeholders on document control and change management procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

12-Month Success Criteria:

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in document control and change management within a regulated industry, preferably semiconductor or automotive.
  • Experience with Arena PLM and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of document control and change management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with IATF 16949.
