Summary:

The Area Service Manager is ​responsible for the management of onboarding of Commercial and Treasury Management customers for a large, multi-region area. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Manager, directs the overall day to day activities and ensures timeliness and accuracy of onboardings within their sites, as well as the completion of customer service requests through multiple teams and subordinate managers.
  • Takes personal ownership of complex or high visibility onboardings or issues; confers with Senior Leadership for their input as needed. 
  • Strives to drive the teams to deepen relationships with customers and Huntington colleagues through delivering a high quality and extraordinary service experience.   
  • Responsibilities are approached with a significant emphasis on cross-sell to identify and manage opportunities, coordinating these efforts through team managers. 
  • Continually challenges the teams to review the portfolio of customers to improve client experience    
  • Leads special projects as requested by Senior Leadership partners. 
  • Organizes workflow for designated group and / or projects.  
  • Responsible for the development, training and supervision of staff.   
  • Partners with the Sales team on site to present a local team partnership to the customers. 
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions. 
  • Provides directions in the establishment of new policies, procedures and technology. Monitors, analyzes and reports on the area productivity to senior management.  
  • Prepares, monitors, controls and reports on the area's performance including adherence to SLAs
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Treasury Management experience
  • 3+ years Treasury Management experience
  • 3+ years of management experience, including coaching and talent development
  • 3+ years of client services experience with Commercial clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Banking industry in Commercial Lending/Treasury Management
  • Treasury Management Product Onboarding
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.

Compensation Range:

Total Base Pay Range 77,000.00 - 154,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
