Job description

Proposal Coordinator
Clearance: US Citizenship required.
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (VA/DC/MD) — Onsite/Hybrid per program requirements. Candidates must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the DC metro area prior to start.
Salary: $75,000–$130,000 — Commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
  • Support proposal managers in coordinating schedules, templates, and document production.
  • Maintain proposal libraries, boilerplate content, and past performance repositories.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables across proposal teams.
  • Format, edit, and proofread proposal documents for compliance and consistency.
  • Support color team review logistics and desktop publishing.
  • Assist with RFP/RFI analysis and compliance matrix development.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting proposal development in a federal contracting environment.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Exposure to proposals supporting DoW, DHS, FBI, or another national security agency customer.
  • Willingness to work onsite in the DC metro area as required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with desktop publishing and document formatting for federal proposals.
  • Familiarity with Shipley or similar proposal methodologies.
  • APMP Foundation certification.
Education and Work Experience
3–15 years of relevant experience, with placement (Mid, Senior, or Lead) commensurate with demonstrated experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
