Job description

Position: Home Health Physical Therapist (Contract)
Coverage Area: Bakersfield, CA (within a 10-mile radius from your home)
Job Type: Contract

Position Requirements:
  • Active California Physical Therapist license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Physical exam within the past year.
  • Negative TB test.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

Your Role:
  • Provide in-home physical therapy for patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.
  • Focus on balance, strength, range of motion, home safety, and equipment assessments.
  • Conduct 45-minute sessions, typically 2–3 visits per patient per week.
  • Use user-friendly software to document sessions and track progress.
  • Handle a caseload of 1 to 7 patients weekly, depending on your availability.
