The General Store, a locally owned ACE Hardware store in Spokane, WA, is looking for a highly skilled Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets and providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Asset Protection Manager in identifying and addressing potential concerns such as shoplifters and inventory errors
  • Provide positive representation of the store and assist customers with problem-solving
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure a friendly shopping experience
  • Utilize basic computer operations and Microsoft Excel for store operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • 1+ years of loss prevention/asset protection experience preferred
  • Strong visual presence and motivation to work
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel between multiple locations within Spokane County
