What is an archive intern?

Archive Interns are individuals, often students or recent graduates, who work temporarily within archival institutions such as libraries, museums, or corporate archives. Their main responsibilities may include organizing, cataloging, and preserving historical documents, photographs, and other records. This hands-on experience is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and gain insight into the daily operations of an archive.
