Iconica is seeking an Architectural Technician Intern to join our team in Summer 2027!
At Iconica, we take a collaborative approach to design and construction, bringing architecture, engineering, and construction together under one roof. As a full-service firm, we prioritize strong relationships, thoughtful solutions, and successful outcomes-for both our clients and our team.
As an Architectural Technician Intern, you'll work closely with our architectural team to gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of projects from concept through completion. You'll see how design and technical solutions evolve across every phase of a project while developing your skills and gaining experience in:
  • Assisting with schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to support project coordination and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Attending client meetings and assisting with the development of presentations.
  • Participating in site visits to observe construction progress and see how designs are implemented in the field.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Enrollment in an Architectural Technology or Architecture program.
  • Previous internship experience in design-build, construction, or architecture (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Revit or BIM360 (preferred).
  • Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurriculars.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Initiative, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
