Position summary

A well-established architecture and interior design firm is seeking an Architectural Designer II to join its Savannah team. This is an opportunity for an architectural professional who brings a strong technical-production foundation and wants to contribute to projects that serve healthcare, education, community, workplace, and mission-driven clients.

The ideal candidate has approximately five to seven years of progressive professional architecture experience, current production-level Revit capability, and meaningful responsibility across design development and construction documentation. Candidates with direct K-12, higher education, healthcare, senior living, civic, institutional, worship, community, or research project experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

What you will do

  • Produce coordinated Revit-based design and construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and presentation materials.
  • Support projects from schematic design through construction administration under the direction of project leadership.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and other consultant disciplines to resolve design and documentation issues.
  • Participate in drawing reviews, quality-control efforts, code and accessibility research, and internal project coordination.
  • Help address RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and field-related documentation needs during construction.
  • Communicate clearly with project team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-accountability design environment.

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, or equivalent professional architecture degree.
  • Approximately five to seven years of progressive architecture-firm experience. Advanced candidates with four years of strong relevant production experience may be considered.
  • Current, hands-on Revit production experience. Candidates should be able to discuss their direct model, sheet, and documentation responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience producing construction-document packages and coordinating with consultants.
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and design-documentation standards.
  • Education, healthcare, institutional, community, senior living, worship, civic, or research project exposure is preferred.
  • NCARB, AXP, or ARE progress is a plus. Licensure is welcome but not required for this level.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship is required.
