Job Description
Paul Lukez Architecture is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager and Architect to join its firm. This position represents a great opportunity for an architect seeking to be part of a growing award-winning design oriented firm. This position offers an opportunity to be on an Associate track, depending on the candidate's level of skill and experience. The firm is looking for someone who is interested in excellent opportunities for professional advancement and growth. The ideal candidate has a love for the craft of building, bringing poetic expression to finely detailed projects while respecting client's budgets, schedules and project parameters.
Essential Duties
  • Manage a portfolio of client projects throughout the five design phases including DD-CA A
  • Assure that technical quality of projects is achieved and enforce application of QA/QC process standards and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relations. Communicate design, construction, and other issues to clients in a clear and compelling way.
  • As necessary, work proactively to obtain approvals for additions to scope of work and influence clients to approve and process payables for our services. In conjunction with the Principal, develop project goals and work plans to achieve the firm's objectives.
  • Represent the firm's services and customer success stories at conferences and industry events.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of junior PM's and related staff.

Qualifications
  • A professional degree is required; B-Arch or M-Arch or the equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience required in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated organization skills and responsiveness to the task at hand.
  • Proficient knowledge of the following software packages: AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Sketch-UP, and Adobe Suite.
  • An understanding of math required for measurements and to convert formulas for design build outs.
  • A high EQ, positive attitude and exceptional work ethic
  • A professional license is not required

Physical Demands/Efforts
  • Work requires occasional physical exertion including some lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • May be required to sit for extended periods of time with possible kneeling or crouching.
