Position Overview

The Job Captain will support project leadership teams through all phases of design and documentation for Senior Living projects. This role requires strong technical production skills, consultant coordination experience, and the ability to contribute to project delivery with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate is a proactive architect or emerging design professional with experience producing high-quality construction documents, managing deadlines, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in Dallas.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate construction documents and implementation drawings
• Support project teams through design development and construction administration phases
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal project teams
• Assist with code reviews, zoning analysis, and technical detailing
• Manage project documentation workflows and QA/QC processes
• Participate in client and consultant meetings
• Collaborate on project schedules and production deadlines
• Utilize Revit and other visualization tools to support project delivery
• Contribute creative and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Support Senior Living project teams with design coordination and technical execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in architecture
• Experience working on Senior Living, healthcare, multifamily, or large commercial projects preferred
• Strong Revit proficiency required
• Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, Rhino, Grasshopper, or visualization software preferred
• Understanding of building systems, construction detailing, and building codes
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and consultant coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Actively pursuing architectural registration preferred
