MA Design is hiring a Project Captain for our Senior Living studio. In this role, you will develop and coordinate the production of sets of design documents and support the project team during all phases of project delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce, manage, and coordinate construction documentation using Revit.
  • Produce models and design drawings for internal and external use
  • Assist project lead in communication and coordination with clients, consultants, and team members.
  • Takes direction from project lead; works with a team and leads drawing production on projects.
  • Perform construction administration duties with limited guidance.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties associated with projects as needed or assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field; 4+ years experience in architecture firm
  • High level of proficiency in Revit; Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of building code as applicable to each project
  • Solid understanding of construction methods required and sustainable solutions
  • Willingness and ability to take on progressive responsibilities with the goal of advancing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of project lifecycle and phase progression
