About Us
We are a high-end residential design-build firm specializing in custom homes on the Front Range of Colorado. Our projects are unique, highly detailed, and technically complex. Every home is custom designed, requiring thoughtful coordination between architecture, engineering, and construction.
 
We are seeking an experienced architectural professional who enjoys taking conceptual designs and turning them into well-coordinated construction documents. This position will report the director of architecture.
 
This is not an entry-level drafting position. We are looking for someone who can think through a building, anticipate problems, and produce high-quality documentation with minimal supervision.
 
Position Summary
The architectural production specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining Revit models from Design Development through Construction Documents. Working under the direction of the Director of Architecture, this individual will prepare permit and construction drawing sets, coordinate consultant information, and help ensure projects are accurate, organized, and ready for construction.
Success in this position requires exceptional Revit skills, strong construction knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revit Production
  • Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for custom residential projects. 
  • Produce Design Development drawing sets. 
  • Produce permit submittal documents. 
  • Produce complete construction document packages. 
  • Create plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and sheet layouts. 
  • Maintain drawing consistency and graphic standards. 
 
Construction Documentation
  • Prepare highly detailed construction documents. 
  • Draft architectural details. 
  • Update drawings throughout permitting and construction. 
  • Incorporate revisions from RFIs and field changes. 
  • Assist in maintaining drawing accuracy through all phases. 
 
Consultant Documentation Coordination
  • Incorporate structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, civil, and landscape drawings into architectural plans. 
  • Coordinate consultant information and identify conflicts. 
  • Assist with interdisciplinary coordination throughout the project. 
 
Quality Control
  • Review drawings for completeness and consistency before internal review. 
  • Identify potential constructability issues. 
  • Verify dimensions, notes, schedules, and coordination across all sheets. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit. 
  • Proficiency in Enscape.
  • Minimum 5 years of architectural production experience. 
  • Experience producing permit-quality construction documents. 
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods. 
  • Ability to read and coordinate structural engineering and mechanical layout drawings. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Willingness to work in-office full time.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with custom residential architecture. 
  • Familiarity with Colorado jurisdictions and permitting processes.
