Job description

Vickers Design Group is seeking a motivated Associate Architect with 3-6 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to all phases of design, from developing schematic concepts and design development drawings to producing detailed construction documents using Revit. You'll play a key role in managing small to mid-size projects, collaborating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
To succeed in this position the candidate must meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • 3 - 6 years of professional architectural experience
  • Produces Revit drawings from SD through CDs---Must be proficient in Revit
  • Develops floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Works independently on defined tasks
  • Ensure drawings comply with building codes, zoning, firm standards and industry best practices
  • Experience in corporate, industrial or multi-family project types is desirable
  • Collaborative team member with a proactive mindset and a positive attitude
  • Hands-on with growing ownership of coordinating with clients, contractors and consultants
  • Review and respond to RFI's and submittals.
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
