Job description

We are seeking a Principal Application Architect to define and drive the enterprise application architecture strategy for our global client. This senior leadership role will shape the design, integration, scalability, and security of enterprise applications across hybrid and AWS cloud environments while partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver modern, scalable solutions.Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise application architecture strategy and technology roadmaps.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Drive application modernization using AWS, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide enterprise-wide architectural leadership.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to support future business needs.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise or application architecture.
  • Deep expertise with AWS and modern cloud architectures.
  • Strong experience with microservices, API-first design, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and application integration.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, and cloud best practices.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
