CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experiencedLead Solution Architect to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
This role works closely with IT and Firm leadership to set strategic direction for the Firm. The focus of the position is to align multi-year IT roadmaps with Firm priorities and the overall direction of the Firm. Once the direction is set, this role prioritizes and leads those efforts. They also create architecture drawings, providing level 4 support, and managing Technical Projects that span across all IT Teams.
How you'll create opportunities in this Lead Solution Architect role:
Consultation Lead: Is the Business Relationship Manager for Firm Services. Leads strategic direction meetings IT and Firm Leadership. Work directly with the business to design technical solutions for a business problem and assist the Project Manager to create a scope of work.
Architecture Guide: Work with technical teams to forecast and roadmap technologies, develops strategic plans from which standards can be established and enforced. Assess requirements and translates them into system guidelines and high-level technical requirements.
Technical Team Initiatives: Create documentation around architectural initiatives as required. Provide peer review of technology initiatives. Guide and counsel technical teams performing implementation activities, and review implementation outcomes to ensure design compliance.
• Provide day to day leadership providing coaching, development, and performance management.
What you will need:
• 8 years relevant experience required
o Supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Technical Competencies:
Enterprise Architecture Design - Ability to develop and maintain architecture frameworks and standards
Solution Architecture - Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions.
Data Architecture & Pipeline Development - Skilled in building data pipelines and enabling analytics solutions.
Cloud Technologies - Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures
Integration & API Management - Strong knowledge of system integration patterns and API design.
Security & Compliance - Understanding of security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Technical Governance & Documentation - Ability to enforce standards and produce clear architectural documentation.
