Position Summary
The Emerging Architect is responsible for assisting the Project Manager(s) and Project Architects in the day-to-day tasks necessary to run a successful project. Works with a variety of Project Managers to gain experience in different project types and project management styles.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree minimum required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • Working towards or has an Architecture License is recommended but not required

Job Essentials
Utilizes REVIT to prepare design and construction documents
• Attains a basic understanding of requirements for developing details and specifications for contract documents
• Assists in planning the overall project strategy from start to finish, reassesses as needed
• Assists in Scheduling and Coordinating with sub-consultants, sub-contractors, and team members (external and internal) to assist in completion of the project
• Assists in Budgeting the overall project time input to provide adequate fees to our clients
• Assists in development of appropriate and quality documentation necessary to a successful project
• Assists in maintaining the GHP project file and its overall effectiveness and documentation included during the project and once archived
• Alerts the Project Manager and/or Director of Studio immediately upon issues developed during the project
• Utilizes technology to enhance Project efficiency and performance
• Assists Project Manager in review of Account Payables related to the Project and provides recommendations to Project Manager
• Provides recommendations to GHP Accounting on monthly billings
• Provides leadership and coaching to Project Coordinators and other Team Members on managing a successful project
• Maintains positive employee relations and serves as a resource for employees
• Ensures consistent application of company policies and procedures
• Maintains an understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations that apply to the Project to ensure proper compliance
• Fulfills other duties as assigned
