Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking an expression of interest for a Preventive Maintenance Clerk position that will be responsible for O&M functions on a federal facility maintenance project located in Durham, NC

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Generate, organize, and distribute preventive maintenance work orders to service crews for inspections on equipment. Receive completed inspections and records information such craftsman's name and craftsman's notes. Prepare maintenance repair and preventive maintenance repair work orders and distributes to service crew. Schedule inspections and maintains equipment inventory using a computerized maintenance management software. Keep record of inspections and work orders while maintaining a physical filing system.
  • Accept telephone calls from facility occupants that report any type of facility problem, i.e., too hot or cold, water leaks, lights out, burning odor, restroom problems, janitorial and furniture issues etc. Logs all facility trouble calls into the Archibus trouble call tracking system and notify the appropriate personnel of the problem for resolution. Prints daily from the (Service Call Tracking System) Archibus System Facility Trouble Service Reports and provide to the appropriate personnel handling the resolution of facility problems. Provides customer service follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and to make certain facility problems reported have been resolved. Provide for close out in Archibus System
Skills / Qualifications

Skills / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Maintain valid state driver's license
  • Outstanding team working skills are a must work independently or with minimum supervision
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business administration practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite products including Excel, Word, and SharePoint, as well as Adobe acrobat.
  • Experience handling administrative requirements
