To thrive as an Archaeology Intern, you typically need a background in anthropology or archaeology, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct careful research and analysis. Experience with archaeological field equipment, data recording software, and sometimes familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools is beneficial. Teamwork, adaptability, and strong communication skills help interns collaborate successfully during fieldwork and in lab environments.
