Job Summary:
Arc is a company focused on revolutionizing the boating industry by building 100% electric boats. They are seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a high-functioning team, provide growth opportunities, and form strategies to maximize impact while improving efficiency across teams.
Responsibilities:
• Building a high-functioning team in line with Arc's values
• Providing growth opportunities and feedback to team members
• Forming technically-informed strategies to maximize impact
• Communicating with adjacent teams to improve efficiency
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6+ years of industry experience
• 2+ years of management experience
• Strong grasp of the fundamentals of software engineering
• Excellent interpersonal skills in both written and verbal media
Preferred:
• Prior experience with Typescript and/or Python
• Prior experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Prior experience with software in a hardware domain, such as embedded devices, mobile apps, IoT, and/or infotainment systems
• Comfortable pushing an fast but sustainable pace
• Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
