ROLE 2: MID-LEVEL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY — EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION AND COUNSELING

BizTech Fusion is partnering with a leading law firm client to identify a talented Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with strong experience in employment litigation and counseling. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to handle sophisticated employment matters, take ownership of cases, and work closely with clients on strategic litigation and workplace counseling issues.

The associate will support and, where appropriate, take lead responsibility for a broad range of employment-related matters involving litigation, counseling, investigations, and dispute resolution.

Job Description

The associate will support and as appropriate take lead responsibility

in matters that include:

- Employment litigation including discrimination, harassment,

retaliation, and wrongful termination matters

- Wage and hour litigation including class and representative actions

- Executive compensation disputes involving equity, separation

agreements, and restrictive covenants

- Trade secret and unfair competition matters arising in the employment context

- Representation of both employers and employees in state and federal

court and in arbitration

- Administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies

- Employment counseling on discipline, termination, leave practices,

and policy drafting

- Drafting and negotiating separation agreements, settlement

agreements, and restrictive covenants


Responsibilities:

- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests and

responses, and substantive briefs

- Conduct and defend depositions

- Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

- Conduct workplace investigations and assist with internal employment

assessments

- Strategically analyze cases and provide recommendations on risk and

litigation posture


Required Qualifications:

- Three (3) or more years of employment law experience in both

litigation and counseling

- Experience in state and federal court required

- Working knowledge of California labor and employment statutes and

civil procedure

- Wage and hour experience required

- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

- Active membership in the California Bar, or ability to obtain

admission promptly
