Minimum Requirements:

Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in oral and written Arabic;
Ability to communicate in English;
New York State Teaching Certification (preferred);
Bachelor's Degree in Education or Languages;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to demonstrate cultural competency.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver Arabic language and literacy instruction and assessment;
Provides support to multilingual students under the general direction of a certified teacher;
Supports staff with information about students language and cultural backgrounds to assist planning;
Communicating and partnering with families and staff;
