As a Best Place to Work, we're looking for an experienced Aquatics Manager who can lead with confidence, develop strong teams, and create an exceptional experience for our swimmers and families. What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of our swim program
  • Manage, coach, and develop Instructors, Instructor Trainers, and Deck Supervisors
  • Interview, hire, train, and onboard new team members
  • Create instructor schedules and ensure proper staffing
  • Oversee class schedules, student progression, and program quality
  • Maintain safety standards, certifications, and training requirements
  • Partner with the Site Manager on inventory, supplies, and operational needs
  • Build strong relationships with families and provide outstanding customer service
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of aquatics experience, including swim instruction and/or aquatics operations, required
  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others
  • Ability to work at least two evenings and one weekend day each week
  • Ability to travel between Watermelon Swim locations as needed
  • Current Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid, and Water Safety Instructor certifications, or the ability to obtain and maintain them
