Job description

Mercyhealth System in Freeport, Illinois, is currently seeking a Full-Time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary Physician to join our expanding team. Opportunity Overview:
  • Full-Time Position
  • Includes weekends and holidays

Opportunities available for:

  • Pulmonary Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Mediteach EMR- Converting to Epic in October
Departmental Scope:
  • Level 2
  • 8 Bed ICU
  • Typical diagnosesarepostop general surgery, mechanical ventilation, sepsis, substance abuse/withdrawal, and DKA.
  • Open ICU with a strongHospitalistteam
  • High acuity to transfer to JBH and MHTC
Required Qualifications:
  • MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Fellowship trained in Pulmonology
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
  • Strong clinical expertise in high-acuity ICU settings
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $470,000 to $500,000
