The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented individuals for part-time Aqua Fit Instructors in Orange County.
This role is an opportunity to inspire and empower members by delivering engaging, safe, and effective group exercise classes. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practice exceptional hospitality, and create a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The Aqua Fit Instructor will help to promote healthy lifestyles and reflects our commitment to community well-being.
Location: Fullerton
Work Schedule: Required availability includes a weekly Monday class at 2:00 PM. Position also requires flexibility to cover substitute assignments during the week and occasional Saturdays.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum Age: 21+ years old.
  • Education & Experience:
    • Preferred: Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field.
      • Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology preferred.
    • Up to 2 years of experience in aerobic/anaerobic and strength conditioning required.
    • Related background in health and/or fitness.
  • Certifications:
    • Aqua Aerobic Certificatio required.
    • First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
