Job description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee new automotive programs from initial customer award through successful production launch. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, suppliers, and customers to keep programs on schedule, within budget, and ready for production.

Responsibilities
  • Manage new and revised programs from award through production launch.
  • Lead APQP activities and coordinate cross-functional launch teams.
  • Manage program timing, budgets, engineering changes, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate prototype builds, production trials, and production readiness.
  • Work directly with customers and suppliers throughout the launch process.
  • Manage tooling suppliers through design, build, trials, and production approval.
  • Support root cause analysis and resolution of launch-related issues.
  • Identify cost-reduction and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of engineering/program experience within automotive manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting or leading automotive program launches.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP and automotive launch processes.
  • Experience with injection molding and tooling strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, dimensional requirements, root cause analysis, and CAD.
  • Engineering degree or related technical diploma.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
