Job description

The primary duties of a Plumbing Install Apprentice includes assisting in assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. The technician ensures the ground is prepped and trenches are dug for the pipes. They align pipes and seal joints together with cement or glue. Installers may also grade trenches and culverts, position pipes, or seal joints. They primarily focus on the physical installation of pipelines in trenches to create functional piping systems.
