Keep the equipment behind unforgettable places running. COST is looking for an Equipment Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles, small engines, concrete pumps, and heavy equipment.You will tackle varied repairs, solve real mechanical problems, and help keep award-winning projects moving nationwide.

What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, exhaust systems, and axles.
  • Complete inspections, tests, certifications, and service records.
  • Communicate repair needs, parts, and downtime.
  • Handle occasional welding and fabrication if needed while maintaining a safe, organized shop.


What You Offer

  • High school diploma or equivalent and hands-on repair experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely; valid DL
  • Two or more years of automotive, diesel, equipment-mechanic training, or comparable experience.
  • Fleet, heavy-equipment, scan-tool, welding, or fabrication experience is helpful.
  • Familiarity with trucks, lifts, hydraulic equipment, and common shop tools.

A combination of education and practical experience will be considered.


Shop Schedule and Physical Demands

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; overtime as needed.
  • Shop and yard work involving standard noise and machinery; standing, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Regular lifting: 70 lbs. floor to waist, 90 lbs. waist to chest, and 25 lbs. overhead.
