In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to growers by delivering personalized crop planning recommendations, building long-term customer loyalty, and driving market share growth across your region. What You'll Do

  • Build and grow strong relationships with farmers through direct, on-farm seed sales and consultative support.
  • Manage and expand an existing book of business while identifying new customer opportunities within your territory.
  • Deliver tailored agronomic recommendations, product positioning, and crop planning solutions that help growers succeed.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share, and customer retention through strategic territory management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Agronomy, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent Wyffels Hybrids at farm visits, plot tours, grower meetings, and industry events.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales data to forecast business, manage customer accounts, and execute territory strategies.
  • Stay informed on local market trends, competitive products, and evolving grower needs to position solutions effectively.
  • Manage pricing, contracts, order entry, and payment collections with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy, accountability, and entrepreneurial drive to achieve territory goals.

Your Environment

Regular travel across your territory — expect a mix of office work, field visits, grower meetings, and team collaboration. 

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural or seed sales preferred; alternatively, 7+ years of relevant agricultural sales experience.
  • Location: Must live within or near the assigned territory and be willing to travel extensively throughout the region.
  • Skills & Abilities: Proven ability to build and grow strong customer relationships, manage a book of business, and drive sales growth through a consultative sales approach. Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and territory management skills required.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of row crop production practices, seed product positioning, and the agricultural marketplace. Established relationships within the local farming community are preferred. Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office tools, and sales technology platforms is beneficial.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel regularly for on-farm visits, customer meetings, and industry events.
