Allied Support for Kids is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

New opportunity in South Carolina for a Speech-Language Pathologist with their CCC's.  You'll be joining a team of therapists and serve two elementary schools, in close proximity to one another.   Previous experience or fieldwork in pediatrics or school-based therapy, working with children in a therapeutic setting, treating children with speech therapy needs, communicating/collaborating with a team on evaluations and treatment plans, and working with EMR or IEP online documentation systems are all desired skills for this role. We welcome new graduates who are interested in working with kids!   *All elementary caseload *Two schools *Mix of self-contained sped classrooms and some general ed *Other SLPs on site at both schools *Full time, in person role  

Speech Pathology Job Duties:


โ€ข IEP Development: you'll learn the Districtโ€™s online management systems to complete comprehensive evaluation reports and develop data-driven IEPs.
โ€ข Instructional Alignment: you'll work to deliver specialized lesson plans and direct instruction tailored specifically to the goals outlined in each student's IEP.
โ€ข Administrative Timeliness: systematic completion of encounter logs for all student services within a 24-hour window to ensure real-time data accuracy is an important aspect of your role.
โ€ข Continuity of Care: We aim for priority placement of the same therapist throughout a student's evaluation and treatment cycle. In the event of a necessary change, we'll work together on an immediate transition to a qualified peer to ensure the continuity of the established therapy plan.

Qualifications:

Speech Pathologist

  • State License through South Carolina Labor License Review Board
  • Completion of Master's Program in Speech and Communication Disorders
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
  Weekly Compensation is based on experience and will range from from $1,950 to $2,145   If you qualify for stipends, youโ€™ll enjoy tax free per diem that covers you throughout the school year!
