Job Description As a Seasonal Reviewer/Signer, you will work as a part of a team and will be responsible for reviewing and signing Canadian and US personal income tax returns and working closely with clients to offer practical solutions to the related challenges that face companies and individuals.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Accurately review and sign tax returns, tax equalizations and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines. Provide guidance on tax equalization and protection policies to employees, ensuring clear understanding and compliance. Analyze employee compensation and payroll data to accurately calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits.

Prepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees' tax positions, including comprehensive data analysis and communication with assignees. Diligently maintain detailed tax records and documentation for accuracy and audit-readiness. Stay informed on the latest developments in international tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications Strong tax technical knowledge of Canadian and US individual cross-border tax issues, resulting from a minimum of 7 years of tax experience in a professional services firm and previous review and signing experience. US Preparer's Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required. US CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferrable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and automated tax processing systems (TaxPrep, CCH Axcess) Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and work effectively under pressure. Good organization skills, positive attitude and the flexibility to work overtime when required. Additional Information This is a fixed-term seasonal contract.
