Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and skilled Electrician Journeymen and Apprentices to join our dynamic electrical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, renovation, and construction sites. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes. Whether you are an experienced Journeyman or an eager Apprentice, your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality electrical solutions across diverse environments. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience and growth opportunities in a fast-paced industry.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and local electrical codes
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute wiring and system layouts
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults efficiently
  • Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit bending, termination, and system upgrades
  • Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with renovation projects by modifying existing electrical systems and installing new wiring in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work; construction site experience is highly valued
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints accurately
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting complex electrical issues
  • Familiarity with high-voltage wiring practices and NFPA 70 compliance requirements
  • Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers, as well as power tools for installation tasks
  • Strong understanding of local electrical codes and safety procedures related to electrical work
  • Ability to work effectively on construction sites or renovation projects in various environments
  • For Journeymen: valid licensing or certification as a licensed electrician; Apprentices should be enrolled in an approved apprenticeship program or have relevant training experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to diagnosing issues quickly
  • Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
